The trail got very narrow near the peak and at some times we were bent over because the trail was gouged out of the rocks. Sometimes the foot space carved out of the rock seemed barely enough to hold our moderate-sized hiking boots.

One of these sections had a guard rail that seemed to go pretty much straight up. The footing was very narrow. We were rubbing up against the rock on the right, walking along in a crouched position, and looking out over a 500 foot cliff. It took a bit of nerve to not want to go back.

I wouldn't recommend this hike for someone who is afraid of heights, or someone who is over 6'2". I'm only 5'6" and I thought the trail was a little tight.
